Nets' DeAndre Jordan Says He Tested Positive for COVID-19, Will Miss NBA Restart

Brooklyn Nets center DeAndre Jordan announced Monday he won't be traveling to Orlando, Florida, for the resumption of the 2019-20 NBA season after he tested positive for COVID-19.

Earlier in the day, Nets guard Spencer Dinwiddie confirmed to The Athletic's Shams Charania he had tested positive.

Durant was also among four Nets players who tested positive for the coronavirus and were subsequently declared symptom-free in April.

With the NBA beginning to test players prior to the restart, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported June 23 that "teams are bracing for significant numbers of positive tests."

One Western Conference team slated to travel to Orlando had registered four positive tests.
