Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant, who has been out the entire 2019-20 season due to a ruptured right Achilles suffered during the NBA Finals last June, told Marc J. Spears of The Undefeated he will not suit up when the league resumes play this summer.
"My season is over," Durant told Spears.
In addition, Nets point guard Kyrie Irving said on an NBPA call that he may travel to Florida to support his teammates, per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Nets will be one of 22 NBA teams that will travel to Lake Buena Vista, Florida to conclude a 2019-20 NBA season that has been suspended since Wednesday, March 11 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, per Wojnarowski.
